been a while, hasn't it, guys?
sorry i've been gone, i've had alot of shit to do.
anyway, now i'm back, after beating a masterpiece of a game,
i'm ready to review the Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker

Now, for those of you know dont know the story of the Legend of Zelda, heres how it goes down:
Long, long, LONG ago, in the beginning of time, the tree goddesses, Din, goddess of power; Nayru, goddess of wisdom, and Farore, goddess of courage, created a magical artifact to contain their power and bring unity to the land.
this golden relic had the power to grant any desire to anyone who posseses it,
basically turning them into a god.
The 3 peices of the Triforce was scattered between the nations of Hyrule, the Gerudo Desert, and the Kokiri Forest.
Each piece was placed within the body of one of the royal families to be protected.
However, the Kokiri did not have anyone in the royal family,
so the Triforce of Courage was given to a small baby boy, whom was found in the forest just a few moments before.
Years passed, and the legend of the Triforce faded into obscurity.
The young boy who grew up living with the Kokiri was named Link.
After the leader of the Kokiri, the Great Deku Tree, withers thanks to an unknown evil force,
Link sets out for Hyrule to seek answers.
While there, he somehow makes his way into the castle and meets the second guardian of the Triforce,
Princess Zelda, guardian of the Triforce of Wisdom.
She tells Link that she is troubled by something.
Her father is making a deal with the king of the Gerudo, Ganondorf.
Yet, she can feel his evil basically radiating off of him.
Zelda is a smart girl, because before they know it, Ganondorf comes in and takes over Hyrule, revealing himself to be the third keeper of the Triforce, the Triforce of Power.
He ALMOST ends up taking over the world,
but not before Link finds a legendary power known as the Master Sword and is able to defeat him, sealing him in a place known as the Sacred Realm.
However, their connection of guarding the Triforce never ceased.
Each of them were bound to one another.
If one is to exist, they all shall exist at once.
Ganondorf returned several other times, each time being defeated by the reincarnations of the heroes of time, Link and Zelda.
However, many, many years later, Ganondorf emerged once again to take the Triforce...and yet the heroes did not arise.
Ganondorf took the land easily, turning it into a sea of fire.
soon, the goddesses themselves found that the only way to stop Ganondorf's evil plans were to drown Hyrule beneath the waves.
However, all was not lost for the kingdom,
for the people of Hyrule were wisked away to the mountaintops, which became the Islands of the Great Sea.
Hundreds of years passed, and the story of Hyrule was lost beneath the waves just like the great kingdom itself.
But...there was always some uneasy feelings while traveling on the Great Sea.
a feeling that there is something out there, lurking, waiting to strike...
One of these islands was known as Outset Island.
There lived a young boy named Link (not the same Link as earlier, but yeah :1), his sister Aryll, and his grandmother.
On the day of his birthday, Link was given a gift of a green tunic and hat,
as old tradition stated, hoping to signal forth the hero of time.
most of the children would fail this test, never amounting to anything other then "That Guy who Wears a Dress."
On that day, however, something strange happened.
while looking through his sisters telescope, Link discovers a gigantic dark bird, carrying what appears to be a young girl about his age.
Chasing the bird is a pirate ship, which manages to shoot it.
The bird drops the girl, who lands in the forest.
Link goes up to see whats going on, and finds the young girl.
She says her name is Tetra, the captain of those pirates, and for some reason that bird has been going after her.
In fact, its been going after any girl with blonde hair and pointed ears that it finds on the great sea.
Just as Link is talking to Tetra,
the giant bird swoops down and grabs Aryll, flying off with her.
After convicing Tetra and the other pirates to take him to wherre the bird is going,
Link sets off on his journey.
He gets to a place called the Foresaken Fortress,
and just as hes about to save Aryll, the giant bird (known as the Helmaroc King) grabs him and kicks him out of the castle.
however, before he is thrown out into the great sea, Link sees the shadow of a figure commanding the great beast.
he didnt get a good look, but soon he was thrown out and went unconsious.
He later wakes up in a small sailboat.
It turns out the boat is alive, and saved his life.
He tells him his name is the King of Red Lions,
and that the shadow he saw was of Ganondorfs.
He tells Link the only way to save his sister is to find the 3 Pearls of the Goddesses, and put them in their places on the Triangle Islands.
Link does so, and a great tower appears.
Once Link conquers the Tower, he gets the Master Sword,
a legendary sword used by the Hero of Time.
Link returns to the Foresaken Fortress and defeats the Helmaroc King and saving Aryll.
However, he gets his ass royally handed to him once Ganondorf shows up.
turns out, the sword isnt charged yet, and doesnt have the power to repel evil.
Tetra saves him, and they go back to the tower of the gods.
a golden light shines from the ocean floor, and they are suddenly transported to Hyrule.
There, they meet the ACTUAL King of Red Lions, who has just been talking to Link through the boat.
He reveals that Tetra is infact Zelda, who wears the Triforce of Wisdom as a necklace.
Zelda stays in Hyrule, while Link and the King set off to restore the power to the master sword.
Link has to go to 2 temples with the 2 sages, Medli of the Rito tribe (half-man, half-bird people), and Makkar of the Koroks (Kokiri who have taken on non-human forms).
after doing this, the sword is at full power.
Link then goes around, finding treasure charts that will lead him to the locations of the shards of the Triforce.
once he has the Triforce, he returns to Hyrule to find Zelda taken prisoner.
He sets out for Ganondorfs tower, they have a climactic final showdown,
Link wins and the King drowns to death, thend.
oh, and theres also an epic talking fish.
ANYWAY
on to gameplay.
its basically the standard 3D Zelda game formula.
the only diffrence is you have to sail to diffrent islands instead of just going across a big feild.
it gets sort of tedious at times, but i'm willing to overlook it.
one thing i DO sort of dislike, however, is the lack of extensive sidestories.
Notice how i dont just say sidequests.
what i'm talking about is a sidequest that lasts longer then 2 or 3 objectives.
I still remember the Kafei sidequest from Majoras Mask.
This lacks sidestories that lasts longer then a few objectives,
that actually tells a story within a story.
HOWEVER, does that mean the characters themselves are not memorable?
hell no!
every character in this game is nearly bubbling over with personality.
be it Alfonso the Pictographer, the Killer Bees, the young couple Linda and Anton, or Poor Richdad and Rich Poordad.
The characters in this story are really memorable and full of life.
The overall style of this game is just epic,
taking the cartoonish style Link had in the Four Swords,
which was released with A Link to the Past.
everything is bright and colorful,
and the style sort of reminds me of a Chinese New Years.
And...i know i might be flamed for this....but....

I prefer Toon Link over normal Link

But, Toon link does pose a question...
this Link is signifigantly diffrent in both age and body then the other Links...
so...why cant Ganondorf change in age?
better yet, why cant we just have a game that just explains Ganondorf's backstory?
they do a TINY bit in this game, saying the reason he wants the Triforce was because he was jealous of Hyrule's prosperity,
but thats still not alot.
how did he rise to power?
What was his childhood actually like?
what was his life when he lived with Koume and Kotake, his surrogate mothers?
they really need to make a game about that.
the ONLY problem i have with the designs of the characters...
well, only one design flaw...

but Puppet Ganon is just utterly STUPID.

Well, they just realeased all 150 new Pokemon for Black and White
i have to say, the more i look at them, the more i enjoy them

when i first saw the starters, i was a little skeptical to say the least.
hell, even a few of the ones they released afterwards i wasnt that big a fan of.
but eventually i grew to love them all.
Now, alot of people dislike them,
but i have to say,
i actually like them alot more then Generation 4.
mainly, people say they look alot like Digimon.
well, i actually kinda like the new look,
and i'm a fan of pretty much every new pokemon too.
Now, here is a long-ass list of what i specifically like out of each Pokemon.
000 Victini = Okay, so this must be the tiny legendary of this gen then. Like Mew, Celebi, Manaphy, and Jarachi. The only problem is that 000 is reserved for MissingNos only. this little guy DOES have perfectly even stats, all of which are at 100
001 Tsutarja = Smugleaf. I kinda like your design, but you're only second to Wotter in my opinion
002 Janobii = I actually like Smugleafs evo. but again, i prefer Wotters
003 Jaroda = sure, everyone loves this thing, but atleast Wotters final can fucking FIGHT |:1
004 Pokabu = Pignite, the most forgettable of the starters in my opinion. each gen has one: Bulbasaur, Todadile, Treeko, Chimchar. that doesnt mean hes a bad Pokemon, it just means i prefer the other two.
005 Chaobuu = my least-favorite middle evolution. its still cool and all, but i prefer Wotters middle any other day
006 Enboo = i used to hate this guy. then Lacey pointed out that he looked like if Wind Waker Ganon was on fire. i gained alot of respect for him that day.
007 Mijumaru = FUCK YEAH meet the adoribleness that is Wotter.
008 Futachimaru = what happens if you take something cute then mix a little badass into it? you get this motherfucker right here
009 Daikenki = even though hes my favorite out of the final evos, he just seems way too diffrent from his others. i would have prefered if he stayed bipedal, but this is cool too. although i do wish the guy who created him stuck to his original plan of him using his shell as a fucking katana. that would just be fucking bad ASS
010 Minezumi = is this the new Ratatta of the series? because if it is, i actually kinda prefer Bidoof...that stare is just a bit scary. but then again, this looks like a Tanooki, which gives it some coolability
011 Miruhoggu = okay, i kinda prefer this to Raticate
012 Yooterii = ...d'aaaaaaaaw X3
013 Haderia = OOOH, YooTERii, like TERrier...now i get it X3
014 Muurando = ...a moustache of the gods, my friends
015 Choroneko = it reminds me of Glameow a bit
016 Lepurasuda = ...remiinds me of PERSIAN a bit...
017 Yanappu = combining something i love with something i hate: Monkies and Brocolli
018 Yanakki = gotta love green mohawks
019 Baoppu = i still love this guy better then Chimchar
020 Baoakki = i still love this guy better then Infernape
021 Hiyappu = d'aaaaaaw, water monkey X3
022 Hiyakki = if its a girl, its just a girl. if its a dude, its a hippie
023 Munna = ...daaaaaaaw again X3
024 Musharna = look at that gas coming from its head...i'm guessing it had a BRAINFART *buh-dum-tish* ...*crickets*
025 Mamepato = i'm guessing this is the new Pidgey. i actually prefer it over the other past-pidgeys
026 Hatoopoo = so if Mamepato was like Pidey, i'm guessing this is like Pidgeotto. but the name kind of scares me...remember what birds do best?
027 Kenhorou = this is only second to Honchcrow when it comes to bird pokemon
028 Shimama = Lightning Zebra...the only reason my friend Pierce is buying this fucking game
029 Zeburaika = what makes lightning zebra even epicer? why, give it MORE lightning stripes of course!
030 Dangoro = reminds me a bit of Beldum
031 Gantoru = ....XD
032 Gigaisu = its cool, but Metagross is still my "fuck yeah" pokemon
033 Koromori = ...its nose is gunna eat me DB
034 Kokoromori = atleast i'm not scared of it anymore...just imagine if it was like Golbat and his nose pretty much enveloped his hole body...*shudder*
035 Moguryuu = one of the first pokemon released, this one still is one of my favorites just because its adorible
036 Doryuuzu = NINJA MOLE
037 Tabunne = move over Chansey, theres a NEW nurse in the clinic
038 Dokkora = i like this little guy, although his giant pulsing veins scare me
039 Dotekkotsu = the steriods pokemon
040 Roopushin = he reminds me of an angry murderous carnie.
041 Otamaru = its like if Polywag had sex with with Prince from Katamari
042 Gamaguru = okay, i would snuggle this thing all day if it was real
043 Gamageroge = it looks a bit more like a Croagunk evolution to me
044 Nageki = Hitmonchan 2.0, now with super karate action!
045 Dageki = NEW and IMPROVED Hitmonlee, now available in blue!
046 Kirumiru = ...fuck yes this thing is adorible and i will huggle and snuggle it all day forever
047 Kirumayu = this is the first worm pokemon not to have a cocoon phase
048 Hahakurimo = this has to be my favorite evos of all of the worm pokemon, like Caterpie, Wurmple, and Weedle
049 Futasude = GAH A COCKROACH *steps on it*
050 Holiga = oh THERES the cocoon. ah well, atleast is has horns :U
051 Pendoraa = caterpillar of your DOOOOOOOOM
052 Monmon = backwards, "NOMNOM"
053 Erufuun = ...dammit this thing is so adorible i think i;m going to get Black just to have it e3e
054 Churine = ...FFFFFFFFFF THIS THING IS JUST AS ADORIBLE YET ITS ONLY IN WHITE FFFFF
055 Doreida = ...BELLOSM
056 Basurao = PARAHNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHS
056 Meguroko = thats the first gator i've ever wanted to hug
057 Warubiru = its exactly the same as before, only it STANDS *gasp*

060 Hihidaruma = i wish my eyebrows were on fire
061 Marakacchi = female evo of Cacnea maybe?
062 Ishizumai = i fucking love hermit crabs, so i fucking love this thing

064 Zuruggu = ...reminds me a bit of

069 Purotooga = 069-072 i'm guessing are all fossil pokemon, since this guys shell seems like the perfect fossil
070 Abagooru = if these ARE fossils, then maybe this is an ancestor of Blastiose?
071 Aaken = okay, this DEFINATELY looks like a fossil
072 Aakeosu = i like the snake-head thingy
073 Yabakuron = ...okay this little bastard is just freaky, is there anything SCARIER then this thing?
074 Dasutodasu = ...yes, yes there IS something scarier...
075 Zorua = one of the confirmed event pokemon besides Victini, it can only be obtained by getting the Celebi from the 13th movie
076 Zoroark = Zoruas evolution, and also accessable only via event, using the 3 shiny legendary dogs. this is actually the star of the movie, and i'm guessing is gunna be this generations Lucario
077 Chillarmy = ...this better be the fucking Ratatta because this thing is fucking ADORIBLE
078 Chirachiino = ... OH MY FUCKING JESUS THAT IS THE MOST ADORIBLE THING I HAVE EVER SEEN FUCK ALL THE OTHER RODENTS THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE EVER

144 Terakion = the second in the League of Extrordinary Pokemon, this kinda reminds me of a goat
145 Birijion = the last of the Super Pokemon Squad, this looks a bit like the lost Legendary Dog of grass types
146 Torunerosu = okay, if the last three are the good guys, then these must be the bad. this is one of the first pure flying-types since the second or first generation
147 Borutorosu = out of the Evil Cloud Douches, they all share the same ability, Mischievous Heart, making my predictions more realistic. however, the three douches all look exactly the same, like lazy recolors.
148 Reshiram = the first out of the two cover pokemon for this gen, Reshiram is actually one of the favorites, mainly because of his ellegantness. Me? i'm a Zekrom person, because i dont really like watching Reshirams giant furdick hanging out all the time
148 Zekrom = fuck yeah, hes my man. i always love darkness over light, evil over good, chaos over peace...and Zekrom is the embodyment of all this!
149 Randorosu = the final and third member of the Evil Cloud Douches...why is he after Zekrom and Reshiram? is he really THAT important? the leader of the three sky gods of awesome moustaches? fuck idunno, but his hair reminds me of, again, the Prince from Katamari Damacy
150 Kyuremu = this is odd that we still have several more AFTER the cover pokemon. anyway, i dont know what this thing is, but it seems awesome and i want it now
151 Kerudio = the missing lost member of the Super PokePals? he too knows Justice Heart, but i'm not sure if that really means anything...but who knows, he may be the super-secret leader of the gang, trying to put a stop to Dr. Randorosu's evil schemes

153 Genosekuto = and lastly, Gunbug of death and destruction. i'm guessing its gunna be some kind of computer virus pokemon, since its ability is "Download." jeez, Porygon must be shitting his pants when he sees this guy

when i first saw the starters, i was a little skeptical to say the least.
hell, even a few of the ones they released afterwards i wasnt that big a fan of.
but eventually i grew to love them all.
Now, alot of people dislike them,
but i have to say,
i actually like them alot more then Generation 4.
mainly, people say they look alot like Digimon.
well, i actually kinda like the new look,
and i'm a fan of pretty much every new pokemon too.
Now, here is a long-ass list of what i specifically like out of each Pokemon.
000 Victini = Okay, so this must be the tiny legendary of this gen then. Like Mew, Celebi, Manaphy, and Jarachi. The only problem is that 000 is reserved for MissingNos only. this little guy DOES have perfectly even stats, all of which are at 100
001 Tsutarja = Smugleaf. I kinda like your design, but you're only second to Wotter in my opinion
002 Janobii = I actually like Smugleafs evo. but again, i prefer Wotters
003 Jaroda = sure, everyone loves this thing, but atleast Wotters final can fucking FIGHT |:1
004 Pokabu = Pignite, the most forgettable of the starters in my opinion. each gen has one: Bulbasaur, Todadile, Treeko, Chimchar. that doesnt mean hes a bad Pokemon, it just means i prefer the other two.
005 Chaobuu = my least-favorite middle evolution. its still cool and all, but i prefer Wotters middle any other day
006 Enboo = i used to hate this guy. then Lacey pointed out that he looked like if Wind Waker Ganon was on fire. i gained alot of respect for him that day.
007 Mijumaru = FUCK YEAH meet the adoribleness that is Wotter.
008 Futachimaru = what happens if you take something cute then mix a little badass into it? you get this motherfucker right here
009 Daikenki = even though hes my favorite out of the final evos, he just seems way too diffrent from his others. i would have prefered if he stayed bipedal, but this is cool too. although i do wish the guy who created him stuck to his original plan of him using his shell as a fucking katana. that would just be fucking bad ASS
010 Minezumi = is this the new Ratatta of the series? because if it is, i actually kinda prefer Bidoof...that stare is just a bit scary. but then again, this looks like a Tanooki, which gives it some coolability
011 Miruhoggu = okay, i kinda prefer this to Raticate
012 Yooterii = ...d'aaaaaaaaw X3
013 Haderia = OOOH, YooTERii, like TERrier...now i get it X3
014 Muurando = ...a moustache of the gods, my friends
015 Choroneko = it reminds me of Glameow a bit
016 Lepurasuda = ...remiinds me of PERSIAN a bit...
017 Yanappu = combining something i love with something i hate: Monkies and Brocolli

019 Baoppu = i still love this guy better then Chimchar

026 Hatoopoo = so if Mamepato was like Pidey, i'm guessing this is like Pidgeotto. but the name kind of scares me...remember what birds do best?
027 Kenhorou = this is only second to Honchcrow when it comes to bird pokemon
028 Shimama = Lightning Zebra...the only reason my friend Pierce is buying this fucking game
029 Zeburaika = what makes lightning zebra even epicer? why, give it MORE lightning stripes of course!
030 Dangoro = reminds me a bit of Beldum
031 Gantoru = ....XD
032 Gigaisu = its cool, but Metagross is still my "fuck yeah" pokemon
033 Koromori = ...its nose is gunna eat me DB
034 Kokoromori = atleast i'm not scared of it anymore...just imagine if it was like Golbat and his nose pretty much enveloped his hole body...*shudder*
035 Moguryuu = one of the first pokemon released, this one still is one of my favorites just because its adorible
036 Doryuuzu = NINJA MOLE
037 Tabunne = move over Chansey, theres a NEW nurse in the clinic
038 Dokkora = i like this little guy, although his giant pulsing veins scare me
039 Dotekkotsu = the steriods pokemon
040 Roopushin = he reminds me of an angry murderous carnie.
041 Otamaru = its like if Polywag had sex with with Prince from Katamari
042 Gamaguru = okay, i would snuggle this thing all day if it was real
043 Gamageroge = it looks a bit more like a Croagunk evolution to me
044 Nageki = Hitmonchan 2.0, now with super karate action!
045 Dageki = NEW and IMPROVED Hitmonlee, now available in blue!
046 Kirumiru = ...fuck yes this thing is adorible and i will huggle and snuggle it all day forever
047 Kirumayu = this is the first worm pokemon not to have a cocoon phase
048 Hahakurimo = this has to be my favorite evos of all of the worm pokemon, like Caterpie, Wurmple, and Weedle

050 Holiga = oh THERES the cocoon. ah well, atleast is has horns :U

075 Zorua = one of the confirmed event pokemon besides Victini, it can only be obtained by getting the Celebi from the 13th movie
076 Zoroark = Zoruas evolution, and also accessable only via event, using the 3 shiny legendary dogs. this is actually the star of the movie, and i'm guessing is gunna be this generations Lucario
